Celebration by mouzeron Celebration by mouzeron
Canada won the mens Olympic gold metal hockey game, and boy did V-city celebrate! Crowsurfing through the streets, thats something you don't see everyday. It was really amazing.

Anyways I was playing with tilt-shift photography here.. I know its not great but its my first shot at it so whatever.

GO CANADA!

I was in the middle of that too! And being smack dab in a crowd is not some place you want to be when you are only 5' tall! It was amazing and oh I so miss that feeling. Thank you for sharing.

I've been working on a drawing of characters witnessing the Golden Goal. Elves in hockey jerseys waving the Canadian flag. And using a camcorder. Only on Deviant Art.
Did you see much when it was here?

Oh awesome! I was downtown for a lot of it, just witnessing the atmosphere and all. And I ended up watching a rediculous amount of curling XD haha, the olympics were so great!

It's almost finished! I had to tweak the clothes a bit. One elf is wearing the hockey jersey that Team Canada wore, but I removed the Nike swoosh and gave a stem to the maple leaf (so I don't get into trouble!)I've never drawn so many maple leaves in all my life!

I absolutely love this! I captures such a poignant moment for our country perfectly. The focus of the shot with the maple leaf being so clear among a sea of red makes for one impeccable shot.
